“I work with the patterns underneath — the ones that keep repeating.”
How I work
Psychodynamic work looks at the patterns underneath — the ones that keep repeating in relationships, work and how you feel about yourself. It suits people ready to go deeper than symptom relief.
We meet weekly at a regular time; the consistency is part of the work. I offer open-ended therapy as well as a 24-week focused arrangement.
I can help with
- Depression
- Family patterns
- Identity
- Long-standing difficulties
Who I'm not the right fit for
Open-ended psychodynamic work asks for commitment — it is not a short-term fix.
What happens in a first session
We start by talking about what has brought you here and what you would like to be different. You can ask me anything — about how I work, confidentiality, or fees. Nothing has to be decided in that first hour.
Fees & practical matters

Cancellations
Cancel or move a session free of charge with 48 hours' notice. Later than that, the session is charged in full.
Breaks and holidays
Tell your counsellor as early as you can and your regular time is held for you — no charge for agreed breaks of up to three weeks.
Confidentiality
What you say stays between you, with the usual exceptions: risk of serious harm to you or someone else, or a legal requirement. Counsellors discuss their work in supervision without naming clients.
If something goes wrong
Tell your counsellor first if you can. You can also raise a concern with the platform, or complain directly to their professional register.

Check this registration on the UKCP registerWhat we've verified
Checked 28 May 2026We check documents, not clinical practice. “Counsellor” and “psychotherapist” are not protected titles in the UK, so we verify membership of an accredited voluntary register (BACP, UKCP, NCPS, BABCP) rather than a state licence. Badges are removed automatically if a registration lapses.
