“I offer a warm, unhurried space where you set the pace.”
How I work
I offer a warm, unhurried space where you set the pace. Many people come to me feeling stuck, anxious or flat — often without one clear reason why. Together we make sense of what is going on and what you need.
Person-centred counselling means you lead and I listen — no fixed agenda, no worksheets. I draw on integrative tools when they are useful, but the relationship always comes first.
I can help with
- Anxiety
- Low self-esteem
- Bereavement
- Life transitions
- Work stress
Who I'm not the right fit for
I am not the right fit for active addiction, eating disorders, or anyone under 18.
What happens in a first session
We start by talking about what has brought you here and what you would like to be different. You can ask me anything — about how I work, confidentiality, or fees. Nothing has to be decided in that first hour.
Fees & practical matters

Cancellations
Cancel or move a session free of charge with 48 hours' notice. Later than that, the session is charged in full.
Breaks and holidays
Tell your counsellor as early as you can and your regular time is held for you — no charge for agreed breaks of up to three weeks.
Confidentiality
What you say stays between you, with the usual exceptions: risk of serious harm to you or someone else, or a legal requirement. Counsellors discuss their work in supervision without naming clients.
If something goes wrong
Tell your counsellor first if you can. You can also raise a concern with the platform, or complain directly to their professional register.

Check this registration on the BACP registerWhat we've verified
Checked 14 Jul 2026We check documents, not clinical practice. “Counsellor” and “psychotherapist” are not protected titles in the UK, so we verify membership of an accredited voluntary register (BACP, UKCP, NCPS, BABCP) rather than a state licence. Badges are removed automatically if a registration lapses.
