“Couples come to me when the same argument keeps happening.”
How I work
Couples usually come to me when the same argument keeps happening, or when something has broken trust. I work with both of you — and with the relationship itself as the client.
Evening appointments at my Richmond practice, designed so you can come together after work. Expect direct, even-handed sessions where both voices get heard.
I can help with
- Relationship difficulties
- Communication
- Separation & divorce
- Rebuilding trust
Who I'm not the right fit for
I do not work with individuals — my practice is couples and partners only.
What happens in a first session
We start by talking about what has brought you here and what you would like to be different. You can ask me anything — about how I work, confidentiality, or fees. Nothing has to be decided in that first hour.
Fees & practical matters
Insurance
Self-funding clients only — no insurer billing
Accessibility
- Hearing loop
Cancellations
Cancel or move a session free of charge with 48 hours' notice. Later than that, the session is charged in full.
Breaks and holidays
Tell your counsellor as early as you can and your regular time is held for you — no charge for agreed breaks of up to three weeks.
Confidentiality
What you say stays between you, with the usual exceptions: risk of serious harm to you or someone else, or a legal requirement. Counsellors discuss their work in supervision without naming clients.
If something goes wrong
Tell your counsellor first if you can. You can also raise a concern with the platform, or complain directly to their professional register.

Identity, qualifications, register membership and professional indemnity insurance checked on 9 Jun 2026. BACP is an accredited voluntary register — counsellor and psychotherapist are not protected titles in the UK.
Check this registration on the BACP registerWhat we've verified
Checked 9 Jun 2026We check documents, not clinical practice. “Counsellor” and “psychotherapist” are not protected titles in the UK, so we verify membership of an accredited voluntary register (BACP, UKCP, NCPS, BABCP) rather than a state licence. Badges are removed automatically if a registration lapses.
