“I help people whose past will not stay in the past.”
How I work
I specialise in helping people whose past will not stay in the past — flashbacks, hypervigilance, or a constant feeling of being unsafe. Trauma responses are normal responses; they can also change.
I use EMDR and trauma-focused CBT within a carefully paced relationship. We never move faster than feels safe, and stabilisation always comes before processing.
I can help with
- PTSD & trauma
- Accidents & assault
- Childhood experiences
- Anxiety
Who I'm not the right fit for
I do not begin trauma processing with anyone currently without stable support around them.
What happens in a first session
We start by talking about what has brought you here and what you would like to be different. You can ask me anything — about how I work, confidentiality, or fees. Nothing has to be decided in that first hour.
Fees & practical matters

Confidentiality
What you say stays between you, with the usual exceptions: risk of serious harm to you or someone else, or a legal requirement. Counsellors discuss their work in supervision without naming clients.

Check this registration on the BACP registerWhat we've verified
Checked 18 Jul 2026We check documents, not clinical practice. “Counsellor” and “psychotherapist” are not protected titles in the UK, so we verify membership of an accredited voluntary register (BACP, UKCP, NCPS, BABCP) rather than a state licence. Badges are removed automatically if a registration lapses.
