This counsellor tells us they're registered with BACP. We haven't verified it yet — until we do, please check the entry yourself on the BACP register. Counsellor and psychotherapist are not protected titles in the UK, so register membership is the meaningful check.
How verification worksVerification status
Checks not done yetWe check documents, not clinical practice. “Counsellor” and “psychotherapist” are not protected titles in the UK, so we verify membership of an accredited voluntary register (BACP, UKCP, NCPS, BABCP) rather than a state licence. Badges are removed automatically if a registration lapses.
